Should I have passed Level 3 to be registered for Level 4?
Yes, WSET guidelines specify that candidates for the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines
must hold the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines/the Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits qualification.
In what language is the WSET Level 4 diploma delivered?
All Diploma classes are conducted in English, as the exams are in English. We recommend Level 6 CET (or equivalent) for approaching this qualification.
What do the WSET Level 4 study fees include?
Fees for DP Level 4 students include all online theory classes, all classroom classes within two years, all Level 4 materials, exam fees, registration fees and all initial administration fees etc. The study fees do not include any exam re-takes or other additional administration fees incurred by the student.
How do I pay?
If you pay personally, we suggest that you pay by personal bank transfer or by Alipay or in cash. If you wish to come to our office to pay by credit card, there will be a 1% administration fee. If your company is paying for you, then the fees should be paid by bank transfer from your company account directly.
Is there a WSET Level 4 textbook?
Each unit from D1-D5 in Level 4 has a designated Reading Material. On registration, students will receive the Diploma Reading for each unit successively. But this is not a textbook!
When and where can the WSET Diploma exams be taken?
WSET Diploma exams are arranged in consultation with WSET London. They typically take place on weekdays. All exams are in Beijing and times are not flexible once set with WSET.
For the WSET Diploma Course, how often and how long are the classes?
Both the online theory classes and the classroom classes are generally held on weekends once every 1-2 months. The online theory course is about half a day each time; the classroom classes will last 2-3 days on each occasion.
